Job Description
The Senior IT Project Manager (Sr. IT PM) of Enterprise Programs is responsible for the end to end planning, execution, and delivery of high visibility, cross functional enterprise initiatives, including enablement and digital transformation programs (such as enterprise AI enablement and intranet modernization initiatives).
This role partners with program sponsors, IT and business delivery teams to translate strategy into structured execution plans, ensure organizational readiness, and drive measurable adoption outcomes. The Sr. IT PM operates with a high degree of autonomy and accountability and provides clear, consistent communication with stakeholders.

Program Planning & Execution
• Develop, maintain, and execute integrated IT program plans across multiple enterprise initiatives and functions
• Lead multi phase program delivery, including sequencing, readiness validation, and coordinated rollouts
• Apply and manage functional readiness checklists to ensure teams are prepared prior to launch
• Identify, manage, and mitigate risks, dependencies, and execution issues across IT and business workstreams
Stakeholder & Cross Functional Leadership
• Establish and manage RACI models across IT teams, program sponsors, functional leaders, champions, and delivery partners
• Serve as the primary point of coordination across IT, Communications, HR, Legal, Finance, and business functions
• Facilitate decision making and alignment across diverse stakeholder groups
• Ensure execution is aligned with change readiness and communications plans
Communication & Reporting
• Deliver weekly program status updates and executive level reporting, including progress, risks, decisions, and recommendations
• Maintain transparent communication with stakeholders to ensure clarity, accountability, and alignment
• Escalate issues proactively and provide solution oriented recommendations
Event & Enablement Coordination
• Plan and coordinate virtual and in person events, training sessions, and key program milestones
• Partner with facilitators, champions, and functional leads to ensure consistent execution and messaging
• Support decisions related to adding, consolidating, or adjusting sessions based on readiness, demand, and performance data
Metrics & Performance Management
• Track program performance metrics, including attendance, completion, adoption, financials, return on investment (ROI), and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Monitor progress against defined targets (e.g., completion thresholds for first‑level enterprise enablement programs) and financial performance expectations
• Partner with sponsors and stakeholders to define measurable success criteria and post‑deployment validation plans
• Produce concise dashboards and insights to inform leadership, support data‑driven decisions, and guide execution adjustments

Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Demonstrated experience serving as a Senior IT Project Manager on complex, cross functional enterprise initiatives
• Strong IT project planning, execution, and risk management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing executive level updates
• Experience coordinating events, training programs, or multi session initiatives
• Proven ability to manage metrics, performance outcomes, and adoption tracking
• Ability to lead through influence and collaborate effectively across diverse stakeholder groups
• Project management certifications preferred (e.g., CAPM, CSM, PMP), with working knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies
• Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) practices and enterprise project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira)
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities
• Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills, with demonstrated executive presence
• Strong leadership and influencing capabilities, including the ability to drive alignment without direct authority
• Experience managing change initiatives and applying formal change management methodologies
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience supporting enterprise IT enablement, transformation, or adoption focused programs
• Familiarity with digital productivity, AI, or employee experience platforms
• Experience working with champion networks or federated delivery models
