Job Description

A global electronics and semiconductor manufacturing company is seeking a Capital Project Team Leader to lead and manage a large program of Digital Tech projects to disengage from DuPont IT infrastructure. The program consists of 26 projects across 9 workstreams over 2 years. This role will report to the VP of Capital Engineering and take day to day direction from the Project Independence Program Leader. This is an immediate, 6 month contract to hire opportunity and will be expected 2 days onsite in Wilmington DE.

Role responsibilities:
· Drive capital project work processes and practices per the customer's Global Project System
· Work with Digital Tech project manager to understand project objectives, scope of work and estimates (capex, cawc, opex)
· Work with the Business Engineering Leader to determine Capital Engineering governance based on size, complexity of the project (gate reviews, cost control level, schedule level, execution plans etc…)
· Accountable for all aspects of Project execution, oversight and performance management.
· Owners’ role champion and ensuring that external contract partners are performing per cost and schedule expectations
· Lead all Gate Keeping reviews and ensure that all project deliverables have been met
· Manage monthly performance metrics
o Create authorization request in EcoSys and routing
o Update forecasts in EcoSys per deadlines and if there are significant changes during the month
o Update 4-blockers for any major project monthly
o Create dashboard and content for periodic management reviews
Will need to work with the following organizations:
· Digital Tech Project Management – estimate breakdowns, scope of work, Indicated Total Cost and monthly spend updates
· Cost Control – ITC and monthly forecasting review
· Procurement – Purchase Order creation – GR, SES or IR

Required Skills & Experience

- 10 years of experience in IT Capital Project leadership or coordination
- strong understanding of the IT capital project lifecycle
- Ability to manage multiple tasks at once
- Excellent communication skills
- Understanding of capital and non-capital funding practices, appropriation rules, and project control techniques.
- Conflict resolution skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

· Demonstrated Digital Technology large Program/ Project execution experience
· Digital Tech Subject matter expertise w/ ability to liaison between Owner IT and contractors executing the work
· Experience managing 3rd party contractors/suppliers
· Prior experience working as a PTL or large project Engineering/Manager. Candidates with large project PTL experience will be given preference.
Experience working with geographically dispersed teams
