Job Description
A global materials science manufacturing company is looking for a Release Train Engineer to join their Sales and Marketing Team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of facilitating Agile processes and leading cross-functional teams, with specific expertise in Learning Management Systems (LMS), signed-on customer experiences. The candidate will have experience in Sales & Marketing and a passion for improving customer experience. This role is pivotal in fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and high performance across cross-functional teams. In this role, you will guide product teams through the agile development lifecycle, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality solutions that meet both business and user needs.
Key Responsibilities
• Serve as Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams, facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Coach team members on Agile principles and best practices to foster continuous improvement and a collaborative, high-performing environment.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners to write clear, actionable epics and user stories that align with business objectives and stakeholder requirements.
• Work with technical leads to ensure seamless Learning Management System and single signed-on (SSO) experiences.
• Remove impediments and shield the team from external distractions to maintain focus and productivity.
• Monitor sprint progress, track metrics, and generate reports to inform decision-making and demonstrate project health.
• Facilitate communication between development, QA, and business stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment.
• Champion Agile methodologies and advocate for continuous learning and process improvement across the organization.

Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) certification
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master in a software development environment.
• Hands-on experience with Learning Management Systems (such as Moodle, Blackboard, Canvas, or similar platforms).
• Solid understanding of Single Sign-On (SSO) technologies and best practices.
• Proven ability to write effective epics and user stories for software development teams.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience using Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello).
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience in the education technology sector or with enterprise LMS deployments.
• Experience in regulated industries including pharma and medical device, a plus.
• Knowledge of authentication protocols (e.g., SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect).
• Ability to mentor and train team members in Agile practices.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and DevOps practices.
• Experience in pharma, med device or regulated healthcare
