We are looking for cable technicians to join our network deployment team that supports one of the leading companies in the cable/telecommunications industry! These individuals will be working in our clients head ends and data centers across the Baltimore/DC areas. These individuals will mostly be working on cabling, installing network gear and troubleshooting as needed. Responsibilities will include experience running and connecting fibers/CAT6/coax cables, and crimping CAT 6 cabling and coax cabling. The candidate is required to have a generic cable/telephony tool kit on hand, which contains cable cutters, pliers and cable test equipment. Insight Global will provide any specialize tools or test gear. The team is growing and there will be opportunity beyond this project within the organization! Pay will be hourly and based on skills and experience. The range will vary from 25/hr - 30/hr, with reimbursement for travel expenses.

- Minimum of one year of experience with telecom cabling, structured wiring within data center, head end or commercial facilities
-Strong background in wiring CAT 6-know CAT 6 color code in making up Ethernet cable
-Experience running fiber optics
-Running and testing fiber and optic cabling
-Reliable car for transportation
