Job Description

Project Manager/Scientist to work to provide leadership on a variety of environmental investigation, remediation, and compliance projects. Candidate will be responsible for client management, project financial performance, and working in accordance with the corporate quality program. Members of the team are also responsible for the planning and oversight of operations and site health and safety. Work will include planning and execution of multi-media sampling, field audits and inspections, organizing and reviewing data, preparing reports, file reviews, collection of air monitoring data, subcontractor procurement/oversight, and related services. Candidates with proficiency in GIS, data, and database management preferred. Responsibilities may also include training presentations; preparation of statement of qualifications and proposals, and other consulting and client/project development activities

Required Skills & Experience

BS degree in Geology or a related discipline
5-10 years of environmental consulting or HazMat response
o Focus with:
Remedial design
Hazardous waste
Site investigations
Site remediation
Field sampling
Air quality
Ecological restoration and water resources
Strong emergency response and remediation skills
Ability to manage a heavy workload, travel and be on-call as needed
40 hour hazwoper
Knowledge of federal and state regulations
