Job Description

A prominent financial institution is in search of a J2EE/Java Developer to join their expanding team. This position involves a hybrid work model, with the individual expected to be onsite in Newark, DE, three days a week. Responsibilities include developing, enhancing, debugging, supporting, maintaining, and testing software applications for business units or supporting functions. The role may require working on diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies, and tools. The individual will actively participate in designing, developing, and implementing complex applications, often incorporating new technologies. While not having direct reports, the person may lead projects and guide team activities for special initiatives or operations. There may be project and budget responsibilities, and collaboration with external programmers may be necessary to ensure the timely delivery of software applications. The Java Developers day will be focused 90% of the time working on the backend using rest API, Spring Boot, and J2EE, with about 10% of the day working on the front end with Java Script and HTML.

Required Skills & Experience

- 4 Years of Java Development Experience

- Experience in application programming specifically with Rest API's

- Experience creating applications using Spring Boot

- Experience in a J2EE environment

- Hands on coding experience with Java Script or J2EE or Java

- Strong back-end working knowledge
