A large utilities client is looking for a Network Administrator to join their team. The network admin will be providing delivery support for the Network infrastructure, including the Cisco Unified Communications platform, Routing and Switching, Wireless, and Security Appliances. They will be working with the Network Manager to ensure Services meet all aspects of the business needs. This person will work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure. They will be responsible for reviewing and monitoring internet service billings; communicate with major ISP service providers to resolve billing errors and discrepancies. They will establish the networking environment by designing system configuration; directing system installation; defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards. They will be responsible for maximizing network performance by monitoring; troubleshooting network problems and outages; scheduling upgrades; collaborating on network optimization. This person must be able to go onsite once a week in their Newark or Dover, DE office.
- Minimum of 3 Years' experience in a similar position.
- Bachelor's Degree in an IT related program or related area or 3-5 years of corporate experience in a similar position
- Palo alto experience ex: add devices to it and create a security policy
- Proficiency with Cisco equipment, including the UC, IOS, Meraki, and NXOS platforms
- Understanding of Cisco ASAs
- CCNA or similar certification
