Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer for a leading insurance client undergoing a major multi-year transformation of its core finance systems. This engineer will play a critical role in designing, building, and operating secure Azure cloud platforms while developing modern delivery pipelines and automation frameworks. The ideal candidate is a builder with deep Azure and DevSecOps expertise who has experience creating infrastructure from scratch, implementing Infrastructure as Code solutions, and driving cloud modernization initiatives. This individual will work across platform engineering, security, automation, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines while helping establish the foundation for future cloud-native applications and Microsoft Fabric-driven data initiatives. This is a 6 month contract-to-hire, hybrid in Stamford, CT, with a pay range of $60-70/hr.

Day-to-Day:
• Build and operate secure-by-design Azure cloud platforms and infrastructure solutions
• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD and delivery pipelines with integrated security controls
• Support a large, multi-year finance modernization initiative focused on rebuilding core financial systems
• Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools including Terraform/OpenTofu
• Build and support AKS environments, deployments, and containerized applications
• Implement monitoring, observability, logging, and operational readiness practices
• Support and maintain solutions after deployment while continuing to enhance platform capabilities

• Hands-on AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) experience including cluster deployment and management
• Strong scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Python, Shell, or SQL
