DLP Business Analyst

We are seeking a Business Analyst with experience supporting Microsoft Purview implementation projects within a banking or financial services environment. This individual will partner with business stakeholders, compliance, data governance, security, and technical teams to gather and document requirements, facilitate workshops, analyze business processes, and drive delivery of data governance and data protection initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience with Microsoft Purview capabilities such as Data Loss Prevention (DLP), data classification, information protection, retention policies, and compliance management. The business analyst will be creating and managing features, user stories, and acceptance criteria in Azure DevOps. They will also be conducting backlog grooming, supporting Agile ceremonies, coordinating UAT activities, documenting current and future-state processes, and ensuring business requirements are translated into actionable development tasks. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements within banking, and the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams are required. They should also have previous experience supporting enterprise data governance, security, or compliance programs.

-8+ years as a Business Analyst, supporting DLP implementation projects with MS Purview in a banking or financial environment
-Experience using Azure Devops for User Stories
-Strong Communication Skills
-Familiar with Data Classification and information protection frameworks
