Medicaid Data Analyst

We are seeking a Data Analyst to support a multi-year Medicaid Modernization initiative focused on strategically sourcing Medicaid data from authoritative systems of record, validating data accuracy, and enriching data assets within the Aetna Data Lakehouse hosted on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This individual will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to analyze complex healthcare data, perform source-to-target mapping, support data integration efforts, and ensure data quality across the Medicaid ecosystem. The ideal candidate will leverage strong SQL and database expertise to query, validate, and transform data while contributing to a scalable, layered data architecture that enables reporting, analytics, and operational efficiency. This role requires a deep understanding of Medicaid data, healthcare business processes, and data warehousing/lakehouse concepts, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical data solutions. Candidates will partner with cross-functional teams throughout the modernization effort to ensure reliable, accurate, and actionable data is available for enterprise use.

5+ years of healthcare IT experience, with Medicaid experience required.
5+ years of data warehouse or data lakehouse experience, including source-to-target mapping and data integration.
Strong SQL skills with hands-on experience querying and analyzing large datasets.
Experience working with databases such as Google BigQuery, DB2, or similar enterprise data platforms.
Proven ability to validate, reconcile, and enrich data from multiple source systems.

Understanding of layered data architecture concepts and modern cloud-based analytics platforms
