Job Description
One of our largest Hospital System is looking for an Authorization Denial Specialist to join their Financial Clearance team. This individual will be responsible for handling the claims that were denied for payer authorization purposes as well as notifying payors for pending admissions. Understanding payer behaviors/criteria's is severely important to this role since this resource will not be payer specific. They will need to have expereince in EPIC and obtaining authorizations for medical services. They must be able to handle a record load of 5-6 accounts per hour.
