Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Tooling Support Engineer to join a dynamic Support Equipment Operations (SEO) team. This individual will play a critical role in supporting tooling operations, responding to internal requests, and ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of tooling-related data.
This position will work closely with cross-functional tooling teams across a variety of engine systems to troubleshoot tooling inquiries, support disassembly and assembly test environments, and assist with provisioning and reporting activities.
Key responsibilities include managing and updating manual data, responding to internal engineering requests, tracking tooling changes, and developing new systems for improved data management. The role requires a strong mix of technical understanding and administrative execution, with an emphasis on problem-solving, collaboration, and attention to detail.
Additional responsibilities may include by are not limited to:
Support tooling tryouts and provide light design/drafting support as needed
Review and compare manuals and provisioning lists, ensuring accuracy and alignment
Respond to engineering and supplier inquiries, escalating when necessary
Manage and track tooling requests, tickets, and turnaround timelines
Assist with the development of a new tooling database within SharePoint
Work closely with internal teams to identify issues from prints and drive resolution

Required Skills & Experience
- Ability to read and interpret engineering prints and identify issues
- Basic drafting capabilities and understanding of tooling design concepts
- Experience with Teamcenter and Siemens NX
- Background in manufacturing or tooling, with familiarity in complex tooling environments
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience working with engine manuals or provisioning lists
- Previous exposure to tooling for engine programs or similar systems
- Strong proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- Experience supporting reporting processes and data tracking systems
