Job Description

A large CPG client of ours is looking for an associate manager, shopper & customer marketing to help deliver strong programs based on shopper insights, aligned with our retailer’s identified needs and delivering on brand priorities. This individual must showcase an understanding of the in-store retailer landscape, with the ability to seamlessly integrate this into relevant executions. They must also demonstrate an ability to think outside of normal paradigms to achieve positive outcomes against mutually agreed KPIs. The successful candidate will support the Shopper & Customer Marketing plan creation, execution and budget management for a defined business and channel(s), working closely with our sales, brand marketing, and category management functions to deliver superior solutions that surpass the expectations of our retail partners, surprise and delight target shoppers and ultimately influence their purchasing behavior.

Required Skills & Experience

-BS/BA in relevant field
- 2-3+ years of experience within shopper and customer marketing (prefer fast-paced consumer packaged goods experience) for a brand or marketing agency
-In Store marketing experience
-Experience working with national retailer teams (e.g., category managers, merchants, marketing managers, insight managers, etc.)
-Must have strong analytical skills and business acumen
-Proficient with Excel
-Experience managing vendors

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-Previous retail experience
-Experience using page proof (creative proof dashboard)
-Experience using contract management systems
