Job Description
Insight Global is seeking an AV Technician for a top reinsurance client to support conference room technology and end users in a fast-paced, professional office environment. This individual will be responsible for hands-on AV support, troubleshooting, and installation work, with a strong focus on Microsoft Teams Rooms and Crestron-based systems. The ideal candidate has an enterprise AV background, is comfortable being onsite, and can confidently handle everything from live meeting support to mounting displays and resolving break/fix issues. This is a 3 month contract-to-hire opportunity with long-term growth potential and strong exposure to modern corporate AV environments. This is a hybrid role in Stamford, CT with a pay range of 25-32$/hr.
Day-to-Day:
• Provide on-site AV support for conference rooms and end users in the Stamford office
• Troubleshoot and resolve AV issues (displays, microphones, speakers, cameras, control systems)
• Support Microsoft Teams meetings and conference room technology
• Perform AV installations and upgrades (TVs, peripherals, cabling, room setups)
• Respond to break/fix issues (e.g., dead TVs, room outages)
• Conduct room checks to ensure conference spaces are fully functional
• Travel occasionally to NYC or other offices for AV support or installations
• Deliver high-touch, customer-focused support to internal users

Required Skills & Experience
• 3–5 years of experience as an AV Technician in an enterprise or corporate environment
• Strong conference room AV support experience (break/fix, live meeting support)
• Hands-on experience with Crestron (must know what it is and how it’s used)
• Experience supporting Microsoft Teams, Webex or Zoom (MST is priority platform)
• Background in AV installation (mounting TVs, removing displays, cabling, setup)
• Ability to troubleshoot AV hardware, software, and connectivity issues
• Comfortable being hands-on (white-glove mindset + technical execution)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience on the AV integrator side (design/install background)
• CTS or other AV-related certifications
• Familiarity with structured cabling and signal flow
