Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Financial Analyst for a top global manufacturing client headquartered in Connecticut. This is an entry-level, high-visibility opportunity supporting corporate accounting and financial reporting functions. The analyst will assist with SEC reporting, GAAP compliance, financial statement analysis, and internal controls while gaining exposure to complex accounting areas such as leases, impairment analysis, and global operations. This role is ideal for a junior accountant or Big 4 associate looking to transition into industry and grow within a stable, Fortune 500 environment with strong mentorship and long-term career potential.
Day-to-Day:
- Support SEC reporting processes including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K.
- Assist with GAAP-based accounting and financial statement preparation.
- Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities.
- Perform financial analysis of key accounts and operational results.
- Support lease accounting processes, disclosures, and database maintenance.
- Assist with internal control documentation and testing.
- Contribute to special projects, system enhancements, and reporting improvements.

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or similar).
- Entry-level to early-career experience (internship experience + degree qualifies).
- Big 4 experience at the Associate level or relevant corporate accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of GAAP.
- Exposure to SEC reporting (10-K / 10-Q processes).
- Strong Excel skills.
- Growth mindset and interest in developing long-term within the role.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Manufacturing industry experience.
- Big 4 public accounting background.
- Experience supporting internal controls or SOX testing.
- Exposure to lease accounting, goodwill, or impairment analysis.
