Construction Superintendent

Insight Global is seeking a construction Superintendent to oversee and manage onsite construction operations across a variety of projects, including design/build, general contracting, and construction management efforts. This mid-level role is responsible for running a crew onsite and ensuring projects such as mechanical upgrades, confidential decommissioning work, Honeywell projects, DOT work, and mechanical builds are executed safely, on schedule, and within budget. The Superintendent will take a proactive role in preconstruction activities, including constructability reviews, risk assessments, and planning manpower, materials, and equipment needs. This individual will direct and coordinate field personnel and subcontractors, ensuring work aligns with drawings, specifications, and quality standards. The role requires maintaining compliance with construction codes, safety standards, and government regulations while promoting a strong safety culture onsite. The Superintendent will conduct daily site walkthroughs, monitor productivity, prepare daily safety and activity reports, and address issues with minimal executive oversight. Acting as the liaison between field engineering staff, craft labor, clients, subcontractors, and inspection authorities, this role supports clear communication and effective execution. The Superintendent will also assist Project Managers by reporting project status, advising on potential issues, and overseeing final punch list completion to ensure successful project closeout.

- 5-8 years of construction experience and at least 3 years as a Superintendent
- Can maintain a prebuilt schedule without assistance
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders across construction projects
- Site safety experience, with OSHA 30, updating data, daily logs, and reports

- MS Project, P6, or procure experience
- Associate’s degree in Construction Management
- Familiarity with design/build, general contracting, and construction management projects preferred.
