Job Description

Insight Global seeking a proactive, goal oriented, and detail-focused Industrial Project Engineer to lead industrial execution efforts. This person will play a critical role in supplier readiness, sourcing strategy, and production ramp execution - responsible for coordinating across one or more Integrated Product Teams (IPTs). These efforts are critical to ensure the parts meet requirements and perform as expected. The Industrial lead will work directly with the design engineering teams, internal manufacturing cells and outside vendors/suppliers to ensure all required parts are manufactured to requirements and delivered on schedule.

- Lead industrial planning for Cold Starts, including sourcing strategy, manufacturing decisions, timelines, and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) for the CIPT

- Support Procurement through Hard‑to‑Source processes by expanding supply base options and sub‑tier capabilities through deep understanding of supplier processes and part compatibility

-Facilitate timely resolution of blueprint and hardware non‑conformances

-Prioritize and manage Production Readiness Assessments; develop, track, and close action items to improve supplier capacity and capability

- Lead Single Point of Failure and material change initiatives impacting sourcing decisions, ensuring continuity through production ramp

- Identify risks to supplier Cold Starts, production ramps, and fleet sustainment; develop mitigation plans and drive actions to closure

- Prepare and deliver Production Readiness updates to CIPT and Executive Leadership

- Cold Starts/Operating - going into shops, building relationships with suppliers to move parts

-Anticipate and mitigate risks - influence parts to completion

Required Skills & Experience

- 3-5+ years of relevant project engineering experience
- Previous experience working on aerospace or similar hardware
- Experience working in an industrial environment

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Bachelor’s degree and 3-5+ years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, project management, or a related field OR Advanced degree with 3-5+ years of relevant experience

-U.S. citizenship is required due to program/contract access requirements
