Senior Proposal Specialist

An Insight Global client, AI Engineers, is seeking a Senior Proposal Writing Specialist to join their growing marketing team within a multidisciplinary engineering and construction consulting environment. This individual will play a critical role in developing high-quality, competitive proposals and marketing materials that support public- and private-sector infrastructure projects.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in AEC proposal development, thrives in a deadline-driven environment, and can collaborate effectively with technical leaders, project managers, and external partners. Responsibilities

Lead the development of robust, compliant, and compelling proposals for engineering and construction pursuits.
Manage the full lifecycle of RFP/RFQ responses, including coordination, content development, editing, and on-time submission.
Collaborate with project managers, technical leads, and external teaming partners (primes, subconsultants, contractors).
Prepare PowerPoint presentations and support client interviews and bid presentations.
Maintain and update marketing collateral, including project sheets, resumes, brochures, and newsletters.
Update and manage client and project data within CRM systems.
Participate in client meetings, industry events, and business development activities as needed.
Support social media and digital marketing efforts when required.

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
5+ years of experience developing proposals within the architecture, engineering, or construction (AEC) industry.
Proven experience responding to RFPs/RFQs, preferably for public agencies.
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

xperience preparing proposals for state and municipal agencies such as CTDOT, NYSDOT, NYCDOT, NYCSCA, NYCDDC, or similar.
Familiarity with CRM systems and marketing databases.
Experience supporting client interviews and public-sector pursuits.
