Job Description
A healthcare client is looking for a Kubernetes Platform Engineer to sit in a hub location (Hartford, CT, Bluebell, PA, Chicago, Dallas, TX, Scottsdale, AZ) on a hybrid schedule. This person is going to be reporting into the container management organization which is a shared service across the enterprise. They work to put together Kubernetes cluster templates that the entire organization uses for cloud deployments. This person is going to be focused on automated provisioning, building, and evolving the Kubernetes platform and infrastructure package release while continuing to support production-grade environments.

Required Skills & Experience
5-7 years of experience managing 200+ Kubernetes clusters at any one time
5 years of experience with Istio Service Mesh for traffic management
Extensive understanding of Kubernetes security
Experience with GitOps for standardized infrastructure and application deployments
Experience with Helm charts for easy deployment, management and updates for applications on Kubernetes
Experience with Promethius as an open source monitoring and alerting system used to collect, store, and analyze metrics from applications and infrastructure
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Grafana for visualization and analytics
