Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to support Engineering and Manufacturing group in East Hartford. This role is responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and interpreting financial data to develop forecasts and provide actionable recommendations. The analyst will track approved budgets, costs, funding, and program status while supporting project teams with financial planning, reporting, and charge number management. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate financial insights clearly are essential for success in this role.

Required Skills & Experience

- Financial Analysis Experience – Proven experience reviewing, analyzing, and interpreting financial data, including forecasting, budgeting, and cost tracking.

- Technical & Systems Skills – Strong proficiency in SAP, advanced Microsoft Excel (including macros), and PowerPoint for financial analysis and reporting.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Engineering or Program Finance Background – Prior experience supporting engineering organizations, including work with Work Breakdown Structures (WBS).

- Resource & Manpower Planning Experience – Experience assisting with manpower planning and workforce-related financial analysis.

- Advanced Reporting & Automation – Experience improving or automating financial reporting processes using Excel macros or similar tools.
