Job Description
• Verify product conformance to design requirements and provide objective evidence of results
• Perform auditing, surveillance, and monitoring activities
• Identify and document discrepancies; segregate and control non-conforming items
• Conduct preliminary review and disposition of non-conformance
• Inspect incoming parts/materials and outgoing orders; verify certifications and check special orders
• Use inspection tools daily: micrometers, calipers, gauge controls, indicators
• Conduct dimensional and visual inspections per design record and AQL levels
• Review and disposition certification documentation to meet AS9100 and company quality standards
• Communicate with vendors as needed
• Provide mentorship across the inspection team

Required Skills & Experience
• 2+ years of inspection experience using calipers, ring/pin gages, comparators, Smart Scope, micrometers, and other precision tools
• QA inspection methods and procedures experience, including First Article Inspection
• Blueprint reading and ability to inspect small aerospace components (nuts, bolts, screws, gears, etc.)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel
• Ability to pass a documented color and near vision exam
High school diploma
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Prior aerospace inspection experience
• Familiarity with AS9100 requirements
• Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities
• Experience mentoring or supporting inspection teams
Active use of Customer Designated Supplier Quality Representative Stamps for at least three customers (or as applicable by site size)
