Job Description
Insight Global is seeking an Industrial Lead to join an Aerospace company located in Hartford, CT. This role will play a crucial job in supporting the operations and logistics around the allocation of parts and materials to depots around the world. The ideal candidates will develop part and material profiles ensuring timely delivery to required locations. They will be confident with reading and manipulating data sets to understand the larger picture and align efficiencies for maximum productivity.
- Measure and report on delivery performance, capacity, and manufacturing decisions.
- Drive Material Requirements Planning (MRP) efforts for the CIPT (Component Integrated Product Team).
- Lead production readiness assessments and manage action items to increase supplier capacity and capability.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to supplier ramp-up and fleet sustainment.
- Oversee transitions involving single points of failure and material changes, ensuring continuity of supply.
- Prepare and present production readiness updates to CIPT and Executive Management.
- Quantify and escalate risks to hardware delivery commitments and production schedules.

Required Skills & Experience
- Strong understanding of quality requirements in a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
- Excellent soft skills with a proactive communication style—comfortable picking up the phone to get answers and drive progress.
- Experience working with internal stakeholders such as module centers, buyers, quality, and engineering teams.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience with MRP systems and supply chain planning tools.
- Familiarity with aerospace or defense industry standards.
- Prior experience managing supplier transitions or production ramp-ups.
- Exposure to executive-level reporting and risk management.
