Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a 6 month contract, possible extensions, IT Asset Analyst to support the day-to-day operations of our IT Asset Management (ITAM) function for 30 hours a week. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate asset records, supporting procurement processes, and ensuring the integrity of IT inventory data. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a collaborative mindset, and experience with asset management tools—ideally including BMC Helix.
Key Responsibilities:
• Accurately enter and maintain IT asset records in the asset management system.
• Support procurement activities by reviewing quotes and SOWs to ensure compliance with sourcing standards.
• Submit and track purchase order requests for IT-related expenses, ensuring timely approvals.
• Generate and deliver regular IT inventory reports and dashboards to support ITAM operations.
• Monitor SSL certificate expiration dates and initiate tickets to notify stakeholders of required actions.
• Conduct user audits and software license reconciliations to identify opportunities for license harvesting.
• Respond to end-user requests related to asset allocation and issue resolution.
Collaborate with ITAM Level 2 Analysts and the IT Asset Manager to streamline asset tracking and reporting processes.

• 3-5 years of professional experience loading contracts into an asset management system.
• Experience performing user audits and reconciliations of software assets looking to harvest unused licenses.
Experience providing support for end-user requests related to asset allocation and issue resolution
