Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Linux System Administrator. This person will be responsible for installation, configuration and support of Linux servers. This role will be responsible for system monitoring and troubleshooting to apply necessary patches and updates with security in mind. This person will be joining a team to work on classified and unclassified systems. This person will be responsible for day to day administration of Linux RedHat servers and working across RHEL version 7/8 and will be working on a project to migrate to Version 9. They will be updating folder and file permissions and will be utilizing Samba in a Virtualized environment.

Linux Redhat version 7+
Experience in patching and linux scripting
VMware Experience
Active Secret Clearance
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Oracle Linux Experience
KVM, or Kernel-based Virtual Machine experience
Background supporting an upgrade
Windows familiarity
Samba Experience
