Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Quality Automation Engineer on the Group Insurance (GI) Product Contracts team within a large Financial Customer. This person will collaborate with Business Partners, Product Owners, Tech Leads, Designers, Engineers, and Delivery Professionals to enhance the delivery of Group Insurance Contracts. They will integrate tools and frameworks for automated testing, design complex test infrastructure, and select the right tools for implementation. The work will contribute to building highly resilient applications that solve business challenges and deliver innovative products and services that are beneficial to customers. A test-driven mindset, strong communication and collaboration skills, and a passion for continuous learning and inclusive leadership is a must.

Required Skills & Experience

4-5+ years of experience working as a Quality Automation Engineer
Experience working in a Test-Driven-Development (TDD) environment
Familiarity with:

Core Testing Tools: Unit, Interface, End-User testing, ADA, performance, usability, security, etc.

Programming Languages: Java, Python, JavaScript; Quadient/Open Text and SharePoint are a plus

Frameworks: Informatica, RAFT, JUnit, NoseTest

DevOps Tools & Practices: Automation tools, SDLC standards, code review, source control

Security: DevSecOps principles and security testing

API Consumption

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Previously working within a Financial Institution
