An employer is looking for a Business Analyst to work 3 days a week onsite in Bloomfield, CT.
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between our business needs and technical solutions. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, assist in the creation of technical documentation, and support various phases of the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Requirements Document (BRD): Develop and maintain comprehensive BRDs to capture business needs and requirements.
Grooming Calls: Participate in grooming calls to help with story card creation and ensure alignment with technical features. Conduct knowledge transfer sessions as needed.
Burn Down Charts: Create and maintain burn down charts to illustrate project progress, including identifying connected applications, data extraction points, and integration with Power BI reports.
Report Consolidation: Assist in consolidating and streamlining various reports to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Field Mapping: Support the mapping of fields and codes into IT data tables, including the development of necessary formulas.
User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Plan: Develop and execute a comprehensive UAT plan, ensuring all business areas are engaged and on board.
Test Scenarios: Assist in creating and validating test scenarios for end-to-end testing, involving business input and focusing on regression testing by business area.
Defect Management: Provide support in identifying, documenting, and managing defects during end-to-end testing.
