A banking employer is looking for a MS Purview Deployment Engineer to join their team, ideally sitting in Central CT but can sit remote for the right candidate. This position is open since they're seeking additional support to help the team deploy MS Purview and Data Loss Prevention and the project is expected to carry into 2026. The engineer would be have to understand DLP principles, including data classification techniques, functional integration, rule creation, and understanding data flows both internally and externally. They would also be preforming end point and on prem scanning and creating pilot groups in MS Purview. The Engineer would be the primary person spear heading this project as the team needs someone's expertise to carry out this project. They would be working with the Manager of Cybersecurity as well as the project managers on the team. The engineer would need to have a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and network architecture as well. This candidate would have need to implemented this solution in a business previously. The ideal candidate would have strong analytical and problem solving skills. They should also have strong communication and presentation skills.

3-5 years of experience as an engineer, with experience deploying MS Purview into a business
Strong understanding of DLP principles and data classification techniques
Strong understanding of Azure cloud infrastructure and network architecture
Excellent communication and presentation skills
