An employer is looking for an Annuity Operations Relationship Manager to join their team in Shelton, CT or remotely. This person will join the newly created "brainchild" of two well established private equity firms--this new company will be focused on the annuities space of life insurance.
The Annuity Operations Inside Wholesaler will work cross functionally with the company's External Wholesaler, Agents and other internal employees. Responsibilities include assisting in the facilitation of service requests for annuity contracts and reviewing requests against both regulatory and internal standards prior to processing. This person should have a background in annuities, and will be an advisor to agents for any more complex claims processing needed.
Additionally, this person must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment with little processes in place.
Compensation for this role is 120-150k per year annually plus bonus.

3-5+ years of experience in annuity sales or a similar financial services/insurance role, ideally in a wholesaling or sales desk capacity.
E-Application experience
Life Insurance Illustration Software experience (preferably with Hexure)
Experience working with agents, distributors, and agency
Prior experience in Suitability
