An Employer in the Groton, CT area is looking for a Desktop Engineer. This individual will act as the technical lead in a highly isolated and secured environment to provide daily support for hardware/software issues. Day to day they will be responding to tickets submitted by end users, scheduled patching, and troubleshooting of technical issues. They will also be supporting project based work around PC Refresh, scheduled patching, STIGs, and multi-factor authentication. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with demonstrated knowledge of Windows environment, providing top notch technical support of critical infrastructure issues.

Experience with Landesk or SCCM
Patch Management
Experience imaging computers
Experience installing operating systems
Scripting experience
Active Clearance
Knowledge of Security Support and Vulnerability Scanning
Linux and Window Server Experience
