Insight Global is looking for a 3-6 month contract for $45-$65 an hour Ansible Automation Engineer/Developer for a client in New Haven, CT for an hour. This person will be joining the Infrastructure Services team, where this person is being brought on to help deploy a central way to automate tasks.
To further break down the role, the candidate will spend their time doing the following:
1. Develop and Maintain Playbooks: Write and update Ansible playbooks and roles to automate IT tasks.
2. Collaborate with Teams: Work with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and improve system efficiencies.
3. Optimize Processes: Streamline and optimize existing processes through automation.
4. Troubleshoot Issues: Identify and resolve issues related to Ansible automation tools and processes.
5. Document Solutions: Document automation solutions and processes for reference and training purposes in Confluence.
6. Stay Updated: Keep up with the latest Ansible features and technology trends.
7. Integrate with CI/CD: Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate Ansible automation with CI/CD pipelines
