Job Description

A Chemical Manufacturing company is hiring a Human Resource professional to support the development of a young organization. In this role you will be managing hiring and onboarding of new staff. You will also support the existing staff by creating compensation strategy, designing employees retention plans, and ensuring everyone is compliant and up to date on trainings, policies, and procedures. In this role you will be an advocate for the employees and be a point of contact for escalations related to employee misconduct.

Required Skills & Experience

Interface and Coordinate with Insight Global

Posting job openings through Insight Global

Schedule interviews (telephone screens / onsite), updating job descriptions, and onboarding

Maintaining EEO and AAP compliance

HR related training (e.g. sexual harassment)

Responsible for scheduling and documenting new-hire and existing employees technical training modules

Ensure compliance with government contract training requirements

Enforcing employee performance reviews

Assist Senior Accountant with compensation and benefits

Maintaining company culture, creating a safe work environment, and handling disciplinary action

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience supporting a company with a lab environment and employees that work in shifts

Experience working with ADP Comprehensive Services
