An employer is seeking an IT Data Modernization Project Manager to join their team. This is primarily a remote position, but this person should be able to travel to Hartford, CT as needed.
The ideal resource will have previous PM experience working with projects related to managing patient and/or health-related data migration, data governance, data cleansing, data export, APIs and enterprise data modernization efforts, with a thorough understanding of the compliance and regulatory requirements related to managing patient and/or health data including, but not limited to, HIPAA, HITECH, and FedRAMP. The IT PM will assist the department with analysis, planning, research, procurement, design, development, testing, and deployment activities associated with a federally funded Care/Case management modernization project. Currently, the department has various disparate systems where data is stored, and with this modernization project they are looking to build a data warehouse to better manage their data flow and storage. The IT PM will be responsible for managing the scope of the project specific to the data warehouse piece including required integration work, development of procurement documents, evaluating proposals, and tracking and managing project financials. They do not currently have a data warehouse solution selected, and this IT PM will be involved in understanding the business requirements and helping make the decision for which solution would be best to move forward with for implementation. The current data is primarily within SQL and Access databases, and they are looking to implement one comprehensive data warehouse solution. The ideal candidate will have high attention to detail, be a self-starter, and have exemplary communication skills.
