Insight Global is hiring for a Toxicologist to sit onsite in Stamford, CT for a large, chemical and consumer goods company. This Toxicologist will be joining the Regulatory team comprised of 3 individuals here in Connecticut while being part of a total team of approximately 20 toxicologists globally. This team is responsible for safety assessments of laundry, beauty, and home care products. Majority of this toxicologist's time will be spent within body and hair care products including: body wash, hand color, etc. The team and toxicologist will be responsible for validation of the formulation of these products ensuring they are safe to use. Day to day wise, this person will be collaborating with Toxicologists locally & globally, ensuring safety assessments are in place, following FDA regulations, researching new chemicals, attending conferences to stay up to date on new toxins/chemicals while maintaining documentation and reporting of such standards. Furthermore, this person will be validating products from R&D, responding to business brand questions, keeping up with FDA regulations, and researching ways/areas for improving current processes. This toxicologist has to have a good personality and looking to grow within career.

Required Skills & Experience

- 1-5 years of Toxicology experience within a chemical manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with FDA/ Regulatory Standards
- Good personality and communication: frequently collaborating with various stakeholders locally & globally
- Experience with reporting & documentation
Degree within Toxicology Required

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- PhD in Toxicology
- Beauty Product industry experience
