An aerospace manufacturing employer is looking for an Earned Value Management Solution Architect to join their team remotely. This team is responsible for managing all of the IT and financial applications for the company, and follow an EVM methodology integrating schedule, costs, and scope to measure project and application performance. The EVM Solution Architect will need to get engrained in the company business process, current solutions, and systems to help continue developing and improving their application roadmap and strategy. They should be able to provide input to determine and architect solutions including what tools should be used and ensure current tools are optimized. They will work closely with the design team who will do the design implementation work, but the EVM Solution Architecture should have design awareness and overall infrastructure knowledge to understand how the applications are performing. The main applications within this suite include SAP, Primavera, WebEVM, and Empower. This group also hosts about 12 smaller applications within the EV space, some of which will need to be retired and taken out of the current architecture. This EVM Solution Architect will support various agile teams and be engrained with the business processes to help drive overarching company financial goals. Strong communication skills between technical and business users is a must have for this position. Compensation is based on experience and tenure, and the target pay rate is $70 - $90 per hour.
