An insurance employer is seeking an IT Project Manager to join their team in Hartford, CT on a hybrid basis. This will require someone to be onsite 2-3 times per week. This IT Project Manager will work as part of the Project Management Organization two support two new upcoming projects. This resource will be responsible for driving these projects from concept through creation, creating project plans, tracking budget and deliverables, managing and allocating resources, and overall ensuring these projects are on track for on-time delivery. This resource will act as a Scrum Master at times, as the company is moving more towards Agile and are looking to implement and drive at Agile best practices across their portfolio. This IT PM will have accountability for project financials for these agile based projects and will utilize Planview to track this. They will need to allocate and manage the budget, as well as watch the actuals and forecasts for project budget and planning. The right resource will have exemplary communication skills, and be a go-getter. We are looking for individuals who are not afraid to reach out and build rapport with necessary stakeholders and technical team members, in order to drive the project and agile best practices forward. Pay rate is flexible depending on experience, but we are anticipating to pay $65-70/hour.
