A Property & Casualty insurance company is looking to hire 2 Quality Assurance Test Leads to join their team in Hartford, CT. These positions are intended to be contract-to-hire and will require the person to be on-site in Hartford 2-3 times per week. This position is open because the company has a handful of different projects going on across the different product teams, and are looking to bring in 2 QA Test Leads to help manage the projects. Each QA Test Lead will be assigned a couple of projects to manage independently with direction from the QA Manager. On a daily basis, about 60% of the QA Test Lead's role will be centered around leadership, management, and oversight, and the remaining 40% will be hands on within testing. The QA Lead will work with the business teams, the development teams, and testing teams to develop test strategies, test plans, and overall test execution. They will need to understand the project requirements, scheduling, and scopes, to estimate the testing efforts and forecast test resources. They will be hands on with helping to execute test cases, review testing artifacts, and provide support and coordination for User Acceptance Testing. They will be responsible for ensuring the projects are following company guidelines and processes around testing and help establish additional processes for tracking UAT progress. They will work with both onshore and offshore teams, and may be responsible for fine tuning automation test scripts. This resource should have high attention to detail and have exemplary communication skills.

10+ years of experience within software testing and quality assurance
5+ years of experience as a hands-on Test Lead, Test Manager, or related position
Ability to develop test strategies and test plans to adhere to project needs
Ability to guide business users in developing and executing on UAT processes
Previous experience working in an Agile environment
Ability to maintain and run automation scripts, ability to fine tune automation script a plus
