An aerospace manufacturing employer is seeking an Enterprise Architect to join their team remotely. This is open because the company is continuing to build our their Enterprise Architecture practice to ensure IT strategy alignment with company business goals. The Enterprise Architecture teams works closely with the Digital Engineering resources to partner on different types of projects focused on Model Based Design (MBD), Model-based Systems Engineering (MBSE), Manufacturing Repair Overhaul (MRO)/aftermarket and the company's digital thread. This particular resource will be assigned to projects within the commercial engine portfolio. This Enterprise Architect should have deep technical experience with the ability to help build the architecture practice. They will be responsible for developing reference architecture and documenting industry standard technologies and delivering and designing solutions to ensure they fit the global templates for the company. This person will also handle business capability assessments, and need to develop roadmaps that are aligned with business goals and business needs. They should also have experience with process mapping, re-architecting, and optimization for digital transformation needs. One of the first projects this Enterprise Architect will likely be involved in is around aftermarket capabilities. The company does not currently have a landscape of the technologies used to manage their global operations. The Enterprise Architect will put together this roadmap to help the business understand what technologies are being used, what is supported, and where the gaps are. The Enterprise Architect will take ownership of processes and interactions between major systems such as PLM, ERP, MES, and other foundational technology stacks that create the holistic digital ecosystem. They will help provide leadership and overall technical direction to the team, and guidance to stakeholders based on best practices.
