An aerospace employer is looking for an Application Support Specialist to join their team remotely. This organization is responsible for an IT engineering applications, and this team is specifically over the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) suite of applications, the largest PLM used being Teamcenter. The Application Support Specialist will primarily be responsible for support within the integrated development environment (IDE). They will be responsible for application installations in IDE and ensure required application are available in the IDE. They will define the best method for installations to IDE, and determine deployment methodology for IDE. They will assist with general application administration, application instance deployment, and research for improvements for application management in IDEs. The Application Support Specialist will assist in configurations, user and account security across the environments, and assist in planning and deployment as required. They will also work on thread integrations, and assist in version tracking and traceability. They will be responsible for maintaining application accessibility to ensure deliverables are being met.
6+ years of experience within an Application Support role with a focus on PLM and Teamcenter
Previous experience with installations, maintenance, configurations, and deployments for applications within an Integrated Development Environment (both Java and .Net based applications)
Experience helping determine deployment methodology and research improvements for application management
Experience working in an Agile environment
