Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an IT Security Portfolio Manager to work remotely and join a large reinsurance company. This Portfolio Manager will be joining the IT Security team within Global IT. This role will be comprised of IT Portfolio Governance and Project Management. When starting, this role will spend 35% of their time working on governance and oversight. Making sure that the programs are healthy, there is good tracking in place, helping with budget management, risk tracking, etc. Another 20% will be spent developing presentations for board meetings and prepping the CISO. These presentations will be on reporting, tracking in progress programs/ projects against scope, schedule, budget, risks. 25% will be providing training and coaching the IT Security PMs and stakeholders of the project delivery framework processes and templates. The last 10% will be ad hoc duties like resource planning, ensuring resource capacity and allocation. This role will also oversee the contract management que, tracking renewals- for ex. If a license is up meeting with stakeholders seeing if they should look at other products, etc. This ideal candidate will have very strong IT security portfolio management experience and have done all of these duties before.

Required Skills & Experience

-5+ years of recent experience as an IT Security Portfolio Manager

-10+ years of past experience as an IT Security PM

-Strong Portfolio Governance experience

-The ability to manage a portfolio of 15-20 projects

-Recent experience developing presentations for board meetings and prepping the CISO for the meetings/ presentations

-Strong management experience and a proven track record of helping/ mentoring PMs

-Excellent communication skills
