A banking employer is seeking a Microsoft 365 Architect/Subject Matter Expert to join their team in Middletown, CT. They are ideally seeking an individual that is able to come on-site on a hybrid basis, but will be open to fully remote for the right person. This position is open because the company will be finishing a migration effort Microsoft 365 across all of their branches and office locations by the end of January. They have used a 3rd party for this migration, and are looking to bring in a Microsoft 365 Architect/Subject Matter Expert to perform a health check once the roll out is complete. The Microsoft 365 Architect will be responsible for checking and set up and configuration of M365 across all devices and services for the different company locations to ensure everything is set up properly for long-term success. They will be responsible for M365 administration, architecture, and optimization including hardening of configurations and working with the IT security team to ensure alignment. This client has simultaneously started their cloud journey and are moving into Azure, and if applicable, this resource may end up playing a part within the Azure Identity & Access Management set up and configurations, and possible an Azure VDI project down the line. The ideal individual will have experience performing health checks after M365 migration and upgrade efforts, and have exemplary communication skills to work cross functionally with various teams and stakeholders involved.
7+ years of experience as a Microsoft 365 Architect/Subject Matter Expert
Senior level expertise within M365 architecture and administration
Previously performed a health check after a M365 implementation effort
Experience with Azure, Azure VDI and/or Azure IAM
