Job Description

A Fortune 100 client is looking for a Order Management Analyst working 1-2 days hybrid in Stratford, CT or Trumbull, CT. This Order Management Analyst will be working with the Proposal Operations team to process a high volume of purchase orders for US government aftermarket spares orders and internal overhaul and repair orders. This person will work closely with proposal managers and analysts who deal with negotiating RFPs and coordinating with functional groups within RMS and who ultimately place a finalized PO in the queue for the Order Management team. The Order Management Specialist will then jump in and take the PO, ensuring correct documentation in SAP, ensuring the demand is accurate, and ultimately sets the PO in motion for execution to then procure the necessary parts and deliver (sell) to USG customers. The vast majority of their day will be administrative-focused, processing multiple proposals using SAP to ensure correct documentation and track progress for purchase orders. The remainder of the day will be dedicated to contract and proposal review, where this Order Management Analyst will need to be detail oriented. The work schedule is a 4-day work week, Monday through Thursday, 10-hour days.

Required Skills & Experience

* 1-2 years of experience processing and assessing contracts and proposals (purchasing/procurement) in a large-enterprise manufacturing environment

-Background working with government proposals (can be from manufacturing, defense, SLED, or other government agency purchasing)

* Strong background using SAP to document and track proposals and purchase orders

* Experience using Excel for analyzing costs, budgets using advanced excel functions

* Team-player, strong leadership skills, and ability to effectively communicate and work remotely

* Bachelor's degree
