A large university client is looking for a Solutions Architect for the School of Medicine to work an hybrid schedule in New Haven, CT. This Solutions Architect will join the Health Sciences Information Systems (HSIS) application development team of 5 that designs, builds, and delivers custom applications primarily in Outsystems, Salesforce and Filemaker for the entire Health campus including the School of Medicine, School of Nursing, and School of Public Health. On a day-to-day basis, this solutions architect will spend 30% of their time converting applications in Filemaker to OutSystems, 20% of their time working with the HSIS Director in assessing over 1900 custom applications and licenses and coming up with best practices on reducing licensing costs and rationalizing the enterprise-wide application environment, and the remaining 50% of their time will be dedicated to designing, building, and delivering custom applications to various stakeholders in Salesforce, Outsystems, and Filemaker. This Architect should have a background managing multiple projects from start to finish, have experience working with various stakeholders in gathering requirements, and have worked with vendor teams in supporting multiple SaaS tools utilized in a large-enterprise environment.
* 6 years of architect level experience within a custom application development environment utilizing multiple platforms like Outsystems, Salesforce, and Filemaker (among others)
* Focused Outsystems experience designing, building, and delivering app solutions in a large enterprise environment
* Background in various application development platforms like Salesforce and Filemaker Pro
* Experience with project management and working with stakeholders and vendor teams
* Bachelor's degree in computer science (or similar discipline, or related work experience with a bachelor's)
