Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Cyber Security Analyst to support a company in Stamford, CT. This cybersecurity expert, responsible for proactively protecting the firm's technology, networks and data against threats, attacks, and breaches. They will be reporting into the global head of cybersecurity and thrive in a fast paced, global enterprise. They will assist in leading the identification, gap analysis and, implementation of the technology roadmap required to support the firm's cyber security strategy. In addition, they will coordinate all incident response activities globally. The candidate will also be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a robust incident response plan for the company and its assets. They will work closely with other groups within the global Technology organization to develop stronger partnerships required to meet Cybersecurity technology goals. This person needs the ability to communicate clearly with business users explaining technical concepts in non-technical terms. This will be a mix between incident reports and project work. They will review alert logs. An example of a project would be: they are onboarding a new tool, this person need to work with the vendor, conduct research, evaluate the security threats and properly integrate the tool.
Required Skills & Experience
4+ years of hands on experience as a cyber security analyst
Ability to record vulnerabilities and response to existing and emerging security threats
Experience evaluating security tools, propose solutions and implement into production (experience with vendor management)
Knowledge of IDS, IPS, Firewall and endpoint security
Cyber security certifications (CISSP, CISA, CEH, or Security+ certification)
Bachelors Degree in Information Systems or Cyber Security
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience with SCADA (OT) environments
