An employer is seeking a Salesforce Administrator to join their team. This resource will be able to work remotely four days per week, but will need to be on-site in Hartford once a week. This state agency has just started a multi-year project to build out a new child welfare system that will be built on Salesforce. They are currently going through their initial kickoff meetings and planning stages for the project. They are working with an outsourced vendor for the majority of the development work, but are looking to hire a Salesforce Administrator on their team to act as a liaison since they do not have this skillset internally. They will mainly be responsible for setting up the salesforce environments and providing ongoing support. The Salesforce Administrator will be a part of the go-live as well as ongoing production support. Since it is so early on in the project, they will start with setting up sandbox environments within Salesforce for testing purposes. They will participate in various SDLC processes including requirements verification, design and development, testing, maintenance, and support activities for Salesforce and this application build out. In addition to building and maintaining the environments, they will also support the integration initiatives. This person will utilize Data Loader within Salesforce to load the data from the previous system into the new system that is being built out. They will also need to create and maintain database reports on sales, utilization, workflow, and errors.
5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator
Experience building out and maintaining environments within Salesforce
Experience with dashboarding and reporting within Salesforce
Previously worked on all phases of the SDLC and created/maintained related technical documentation
