Insight Global is hiring for a Sr. Contracts Manager to sit 100% onsite in Stamford, CT for a large, telecommunication company. This manager will be joining the business planning contracts team. This team is responsible for all contracts that come through the customer operations organization. These contracts are professional services, new vendors, contracts for services that they cannot do in house. The team is composed of a Vice President and a Sr. Analyst. This Sr. Contract Manager will review contracts about 50% of their day. Identifying issues or flaws in the contracts and bring it to the VPs attention or negotiate with the 3rd party to get the revision. The other 50% will be spent in follow up via email, meetings, or phone calls. This follow up can be awaiting on the business planning or legal team for the contracts, vendor emails/phone negotiation or clarifications, etc. This manager will work in a contract management system. Someone who is process/systems oriented will be successful. They might also be tasked with helping with different projects. Example: sorting through contracts finding "obvious" contracts that are worth negotiating/old contracts vs. more difficult.
10+ years' work experience majority in contract management
Experience negotiating contracts (new vs. old financials)
Experience with a contract management system (ex. Ariba, SAP)
Experience working with 3rd party vendors/stakeholders
Proficient within Microsoft Office Suites (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor's degree
