Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Facilities Assistant to support a large reinsurance company is Stamford, CT. They will be joining the Facilities Operations Team. This team supports all departments such as, IT, Finance, Procurement, Real Estate, Mail room, etc. Travel is needed 25% of the time to go onsite to service locations in the tristate. This person will be responsible for anything that comes in through the Service Now ticketing system. An example of a ticket could be, asset was terminated and need to get equipment back working with shipping companies, coffee machine broke, chair broke, etc. They will need to conduct daily walkthroughs of the office, proactively ensure Cafeteria, pantries, conference/meeting rooms, and common areas are properly equipped and maintained daily and correct items as necessary. They will need to complete routine administration (receive and process incoming and outgoing mail, monitor, stock and complete inventory sheets associated with daily and weekly maintenance of breakroom, mailroom and supply cabinets throughout the office, assist with disconnects and reconnects of computer equipment for moves and new hire setups, check and ensure that facilities are clean, and assist with the set-up of meeting rooms: furniture, chairs, tables, projectors, easels, flip charts, whiteboards, etc.)

Required Skills & Experience

- 2+ years' experience in a facilities coordinator role (specifically in an office/corporate environment)

- Experience managing tickets regarding maintenance, office spaces, and routine administration (mail, inventory)

-Ability to lift 50 lbs.

-Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

-Strong customer service skills
