A global reinsurance employer is seeking a Remote Senior Software Engineer to join their team. This resource will be joining the Data Services team that is partnering with the business analytics group on machine learning operations lifecycle framework. The goal is to define and create a solution for model publications and model solution trainings for the company. They are building a multi-purpose service layer within Azure to create this solution and the goal is that this service layer be flexible to support future model deployments as well. About 40% of this resource's time will be centered around working on the Azure cloud aspect of this project including the connectivity and API features. About 30% will be spent on analysis, this will include getting up to speed on what has already been done on the project, and performing analysis on how to create code to add the needed functionality the company is looking for. The remaining 30% will be centered around development and unit testing. This resource should have expertise within Azure including PaaS services and functionality, how to operate in the cloud, and how to work in a DevOps manner and create CI/CD pipelines. They should also have experience integrating Azure services with other tools such as Github, TFS, or Visual Studio. They will collaborate with other teams to ensure the solutions are deployed and operated securely. This Senior Software Engineer will be embedded in this team with two architects, as well as some additional individuals on the business side. Strong communication skills are a must have as this person will be working fully remotely to support this project.
8+ years experience as a Software Engineer utilizing C# .Net
8+ years experience with Azure including integrations and API management
Understanding of how to operate in the cloud including Platform as a Service (PaaS)
Experience with SQL Server
Understanding of DevOps, building a DevOps pipeline and CI/CD
