Insight global is looking for a Competitive Intelligence Expert for one of the world's largest pharmaceutical companies. This person will sit fully remote and will work on a team of four while also working with cross functional teams including Medicine, Marketing, and Research teams. This person will work on the formal research process of collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data around specific business benchmarks with the end goal to use the data to improve core competencies. They will be delivering strategic insights based on knowledge in the pharma spaces specifically related to the inflammation and respiratory areas, while supporting Phase II clinical development. This expert will also work closely with the Director Immunology and Respiratory CRDI, and other CI colleagues and external consultants to provide competitive analysis and insights to guide project decision making. This person needs to have a strong understanding and background with diseases such as IBD and Crohn's disease so that they can help deliver the insights that help the team position early discovery. In addition, a strong understanding of drug discovery and experience is helpful within discuss. They will participate in conference coverage and debriefing activities and in maintaining data sources required to support the delivery and sharing of comprehensive competitive intelligence to business partners.
* 3+ Years as a R&D Competitive Intelligence Expert (Expert knowledge of the Pharma Inflammation competitive space)
* Expertise in respiratory (IPF), Fibrotic diseases, and immunology
* Background in Science and understanding of clinical data
* Advance degree PhD/MD or master's degree in related field (R&D CI)
* Ability to work in cross functional teams and excellent communication and influencing skills
* Drug discovery/development experience
