Job Description
An aerospace employer is looking for a Model Based Enterprise Systems Architect to join their team remotely. This resource will join the team focused on Model Based Enterprise (MBE) architecting solutions and creating direction for integrated Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Aftermarket for the company. On a daily basis the Model Based Enterprise Systems Architect will be responsible for working with business partners to gather technical requirements, drive project definition, and ensure end products meet customer needs. They will drive strategies to develop, maintain, and leverage digital twins for manufacturing while helping implement and support scaled agile practices. They will perform technology watch to help determine emerging technology stacks and products and make suggestions on future better support for the company's digital ecosystem. Strong communication is key since this Architect will partner extensively with Engineering, IT Manufacturing, Quality, and other teams to ensure the design and implementation are up to specifications. This will include technical development, validation, technology transfer, and ongoing lifecycle management and support for the products. The Model Based Enterprise Systems Architect will work closely with program leadership to create short and long term roadmaps for solutions across the MBE portfolio, and help with deployments of application monitoring tools to improve reliability of MBE systems.
Required Skills & Experience
-10-15+ years of experience within IT Architecture
-Expertise with Product Lifecycle Management and integrating PLM toolsets into MES
-Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field
-Leadership experience within digital strategy, architecture development, and deployment
-Manufacturing background
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
-Aerospace background
-Experience with Digital Transformation & Model Based Enterprise
-Experience with Siemens or Dassault PLM
