Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Remote Full Stack Developer/Software Engineer to support a large aerospace and aviation client in the Hartford, CT area. This candidate will be working with software engineers and Data Science/ML engineers as they will be joining an advanced analytics/data science team responsible for building, testing and validating innovative digital solutions. This advanced analytics group supports all facets of the business, including Operations, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain etc. and plays a key role in the companies' Agile digital transformation. The ideal candidate the candidate must have hands on full stack development experience, specifically React or Angular on the front-end and back-end Python development (Django framework). The applications that the team is modified/building are hosted on AWS and Azure. The ideal candidate will work with a team of developers as well as various business units and must be able to translate business requirements into technical plans or data.

Required Skills & Experience

-5+ years of experience in Full Stack software Development to solve business requirements

-US CIT is required

-5+ years hands-on development experience with Python and Django/Flask frameworks

-Demonstrated front-end experience using React

-Experience developing/modifying APIs

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-2+ years of exposure to Cloud services and architecture such Azure or AWS

-Background or exposure to Data Science/Machine Learning or analytics

-Experience with Jira, Confluence or Github for software documentation
